advertising is weird

Am I the only one here who does not want to make friends with my fast? That thing scares me. I certainly would not bring it into my house where it could stare at me while I was innocently trying to order food. Eff off, fast. I'm not interested.

You spent HOW much on your new flat-screen TV and you don't know about making friends with your fast? What are you watching on that thing, anyway?

Gee, I thought it was a generational thing. I'm glad to know that you youngsters don't relate to it either.

Ladyvelo is referring to an advertising campaign for an automaker who will remain nameless. Your "fast" is something which encourages auto owners to drive as much as possible and, I feel it's safe to assume, more recklessly then they normally would. One of the commercials has a guy's "fast" telling him to ignore the discomfort of others in his vehicle. It's a great advertising campaign for those who believe that the manufacturer of their vehicle correlates well with their success in the world.

Unfortunately, I suspect that it's a reasonably successful campaign as it should resonate well with your standard highway nascar racing commuter. Your "fast" encourages you to fight over the next 20 feet. *sigh*

a frog-like icon, called "fast," that speaks in a deep voice reminiscent of Darth Vader.
Use the clutch Luke....

Just what American's need something else telling them to burn more fuel. With gas prices this high my "fast" can take a hike.
