Yeah...so I'm out there on the course, wondering how the hell I have managed to stick with the 1/2/3s for that long, and too focused on keeping the rubber side down to try to count how many teammates are there with me. So when I think I see Annie standing on the side of the road cheering. Obviously I'm working too hard. Of course it's not Annie! Annie is in the race with me right now!

Aww, Annie - I feel your pain. I had to DNF this weekend, too. I did only the swim at a tri. It was a planed DNF, fortunately. But it hurt, nonetheless.

I was jealous of your DNF. The only reason I didn't DNF was because I didn't want the chick I was riding with to think she could outsprint me. So when we sprinted for the coveted 20th place (or whatever it was), I schooled her. And then she rolled up and said "was that our last lap?". Are you f'n kidding me? I wasted a good sprint on a chick who didn't even know she was supposed to sprint. So I should have DNF'ed when you did.

by the way, thanks for cheering!
